Our little girl is growing up!

Zeke, Mac, & Izzy
I just had to share how cute Mackena was tonight at dinner! She was having dessert and I was finishing up with Brekk when all of a sudden she started singing. She sings random songs all the time but this time it was too cute and she actually made me want to cry! She started singing "Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me! ...." I thought she would just keep singing that over and over but she actually sang the entire song all the way through. She was even doing actions to go along with "me", "strong", etc. It was just SO sweet and I was so proud of her. I guess she DOES listen to me when I'm singing songs about Jesus to her. She is getting so big and growing up too fast!

And I can't forget about the little man! He is really into jumping in his Johnny Jump Up. I think he would jump for hours if we'd let him. He's gonna have some strong legs....it looks like a really good workout. Maybe they should make those things for adults....my legs could sure use a workout like that! :)

Sorry it's been FOREVER!

Bode & Mac being silly
Cooper & Brekk playing
Mac playing with Cooper

So sorry that I haven't blogged forever! I don't even have an excuse...just forgot to I guess. The pics are from a couple weeks ago when we went to visit Heath & Loraine & the boys. Heath and Andy went snowmobiling for an afternoon while Loraine and I hung out with the kids (surprise, surprise!). Mac LOVES playing with her cousins and of course Loraine and I had a good chat during nap time. It's fun because Mackena and Bode are only 7 weeks apart and are finally getting along great...they actually play together although many times Mac isn't playing trucks the "correct" way so Bode gets a little frustrated! :) Cooper and Brekk are only 1 week apart in age so they will have some good times playing soon too.

I've started to sub the past couple weeks so that's fun. I love being in the classroom again and making such an impact on those little minds. I think Brekk and Mac have had lots of fun with daddy time too. It's good for all of us. As long as our kids can be home with either Andy and I we are happy! Well, nap time for the little man is creeping up so it's time for a feeding and then time for Mac and I to play without the baby for a couple hours! I PROMISE to update again soon!

Christmas Memories

Brekk & Mackena Christmas Eve
Brekk LOVED the paper!
Matching Christmas PJ's
Mac sporting her new dress-up clothes!
Mackena admiring baby Jesus at the Rotary Lights in LaCrosse
We had lots of fun over the holidays as you can see! Mac really enjoyed Christmas this year and got lots of fun stuff even though she told santa all she wanted was chapstick and gum! She is SO funny! Brekk had fun too...I think...at least we know he liked the paper! We haven't been up too much since Christmas. HAPPY NEW YEAR! I almost forgot about that. Andy and I stayed home with the kids and didn't even make it till midnight. We tried but I guess we're old and couldn't do it! We both fell asleep watching a movie. Andy on the couch and me in the chair...we are SO old! At least we woke up at 12:20 and said 'Happy New Year' to eachother! :)
Andy's work schedule changed to 2nd shift so now he's home during the days with us so that's nice. It also gives me a chance to start subbing again...I'm looking forward to that as it gives me a chance to get out of the house and also to keep up with the 'education world' so that when it's time to look for a full time teaching position I know what's going on in the schools these days. I just gave them the okay to start calling me so I'll probably have some pretty funny stories to tell sometime soon!
Oh...funny story about Mac to end with today...The other day she was eating a little chocolate snowman and it started to melt in her fingers so all of a sudden she yelled for me and said "Mommy, Frosty the snowman pooped on mine fingers!" I just burst out laughing but poor little Mac was super upset so I had to pull it together and explain that it was just the chocolate melting and he wasn't pooping on her fingers! AAAHHH...it was SO funny...you gotta love 2 year olds!
