Sick again!

Well once again we've all had nasty colds around here. It really needs to warm up and STAY warm! Brekk was not doing well at all on Friday so I ended up taking him into Urgent Care and he has pneumonia again! Poor baby...I felt so horrible! They ended up admitting him into the hospital that night but he only had to stay until Saturday around noon. They hooked him up with an IV for fluids and an antibiotic and gave him some breathing treatments again. He is doing much better now but still just isn't quite himself. I do think his top 2 teeth are trying to come in too so I'm sure that doesn't help. So, our fam is not doing the best right now. We are all running VERY low on sleep which isn't helping us getting healthy at all. Just pray for sleep and better health for us! Thanks and I'll let you know how the little man is doing in a couple days.

We have been truly enjoying the beautiful weather. Mackena can't get enough of playing outside. It's always a battle to come in to eat or take a nap. We might have to start having picnic lunch in the yard every day just so she can stay outside a little longer! Seeing the sun is such a blessing when you have kids that ALWAYS want to be outside. We are welcoming Spring with open arms and lovin it!

We have been tricked a couple times here in WI with the weather but it has been getting better around here again. We did have snow AGAIN but it has now all melted and we've been busy doing yard work. The tulips have started to come up as well as all of our other spring flowers so that's pretty exciting...it's actually feeling like spring now! Mac has been outside playing alot the past couple days even though it's been VERY windy. We hit the mid 60's today so even with the wind it's super nice out. Seems like we've been waiting for this weather forever. Mac and I were also able to go to a track meet on Monday. Everything has been cancelled lately because of all the rain and melting snow but we finally made it to watch the kids race as Mac would say. She had a blast cheering and watching the "big kids" (high schoolers) run around and around and around. When we got home she told daddy that when she gets big she's gonna run around and around too...he wasn't too excited about that. Track was never something he was very excitied to watch...he barely ever watched me when I ran. Of course that sounds good to me though...I'll probably encourage her to run but she knows she can do whatever she wants when she gets big. That's what I always tell her even though she has no clue what I mean...it's more of a comment towards her daddy!!! I guess I should probably get my indoor cleaning done because I know as soon as the kids are up from nap we'll be heading outside to play and finish up some yard work. Enjoy the sun!!!

Well it is FINALLY warming up in Wisconsin! Almost all of the snow in our yard has melted so that is very exciting. Mac still thinks she needs to wear snowpants though...she's a little silly. We've had fun playing outside this past week since it's been in the 50's...that's warm for us! Life has been a little hectic now that Andy switched shifts again. He's back on nights which is a little confusing for Mac because she doesn't understand why he is sleeping when we are all awake. I tried explaining to her that daddy was at work when we were sleeping so now he has to sleep for a little while but she thinks he should just get up and play. Hopefully after a couple weeks she'll leave him alone and start to understand that daddy's job is just CRAZY! Brekk has been a bit crabby...more teeth. He's just so different than Mackena was. She didn't fuss about her teeth coming in but Brekk is another story...YIKES! Thankfully the weather has been nice and the sun has been out so that makes things better and everyone a little happier.
