As I promised weeks ago...here's our Easter update. We had a WONDERFUL Easter! Mackena sang and played the bells (or was supposed to but decided to just stand there instead) at church, Pastor Jay gave a great message reminding us why we celebrate Easter and to grow our relationship with Christ, there were a couple baptisms after the service which was amazing to be a part of, we came home and had a simple lunch, nap time, an Easter egg hunt outside, and then I made a nice Easter dinner (ham and all!). It was SO nice to not have to be running here and there...that gets tiring and it's not really "fun" for the kids either. It just gets to be lots of riding in a vehicle and not much time playing and having fun which is what they should get to do on a holiday. Easter Sunday was a very relaxing day as our own little family which was exactly what we needed! Here are some pics from our lovely day.

oh my gosh your kids are looking alot older all of the sudden! that picture of the easter tantrum is so funny!! and Mac's dress and pea coat are to CUTE! I love the hat too!. we enjoyed the new pictures! thanks

Also, I loved reading about Easter, Church, nap time, and the Easter Egg hunt....Josh said to me "See, they are supposed to hunt eggs outside"....My family would get up before Church on Easter morning and hunt around the house....We will do both when we have kids...

We go to a church in Wisconsin Dells. It's called Pine Valley...it's an evangelical free church. It is a church plant so there is usually around 50 of us and we meet in a conference room at one of the hotels. It's awesome and so fun to be a part of something that is just starting and growing. We've made some GREAT friends...they are like our family!
